We are always excited to see our words put into action on a new web site. The latest example is the new Nectar Ales web site, which begins with the following story statement:
Twenty years ago, a new kind of beer took flight from the redwoods of Northern California, helping set the pace for the craft brew revolution. Today, the beers of Nectar Ales continue to blaze trails with award-winning quality, extraordinary flavor and soaring personality.
Nectar Ales was established in 1987 as one of California’s pioneering craft beer brands. Several years ago, Nectar Ales was acquired by Firestone Walker Brewing Company and was relocated to the Central Coast from Humboldt County.
With the above statement, we sought to leverage the brand’s pioneering accomplishments while positioning it for continued relevance and success.
The theme continues with the description of the flagship beer Red Nectar:
The beer that started it all… Red Nectar was considered a strange bird when it was first released in 1987. After all, where did a robust, handcrafted all-natural amber ale fit into the massive flock of American industrial lagers? Answer: it didn’t. So it blazed its own trail, helping set the pace for the craft brew revolution.
